Titebond II Premium - 237ml

Titebond II Premium is a one-component, cross-linking dispersion adhesive based on PVAC. It is recommended for cold or hot bonding, in presses, and for finger joints. The advantages of this glue include a short setting time, viscosity stability, and a relatively high solids content. Titebond II can be used for both outdoor and indoor projects and meets the European DIN EN 204 D3 standard for water resistance.

Advantages:

High bonding speed and excellent joint strength
Ideal for both outdoor and indoor woodworking projects
Water-resistant to D3 class
Open time: 3-5 minutes and short clamping time: 10-20 minutes (at 20°C)
Easy to spread
Non-toxic
Easy to clean with water

Capacity: 237ml

The bottle has a cap with a convenient applicator for easy repeated opening and closing.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Material moisture: The moisture content of the bonded material should be 6-10%. Excessive moisture significantly increases the bonding time.

Material preparation: The material should be prepared and glued on the same day. Ensure an even surface on the bonded areas, free from wood dust and debris.

To achieve even pressure distribution during gluing, the thickness difference of the bonded material should not exceed ± 0.15 mm. Maximum deflection of bonded material: 1.5 mm.

Application: The general application amount is 120-150 g/m². For porous or uneven surfaces, this amount may need to be increased.

Open time: 7-10 minutes. The open time depends on the amount of glue applied, the porosity of the material, wood moisture, bonding temperature, and other factors.

Pressing pressure: The pressing pressure mainly depends on the wood species. Recommended values are: for softwood: 7.0-10.5 Kg/cm²; medium-hardwood: 8.8-12.3 Kg/cm²; hardwood: 12.3-17.6 Kg/cm².

Pressing time: 10-20 minutes (at 20°C). The pressing time depends on wood species, moisture, and bonding temperature.

Post-bonding: After removing the piece from the press, the joint achieves initial strength sufficient for handling. Mechanical processing is recommended the following day to avoid dimensional changes in the glued material due to residual moisture in the joint.

Cleaning: Use cold water to remove wet glue. For partially dried glue, use hot water. For completely dried glue, the best results are achieved with hot steam. To prevent glue contamination of tools, an anti-adhesive agent is recommended.
