The chisel features high hardness (approximately 63 HRC) and is made from high-carbon Shirogami steel, also known as White Paper Steel, renowned in Japan for its sharpness and durability, ideal for chisels and knives. The handle is crafted from red oak (akagashi) and finished with a metal ring, allowing for use with a metal hammer.
