Allows sharpening of chisels from 3.2mm to 38mm in width. The minimum blade length is 70mm. The guide accepts bevel-edge chisels up to 11.9mm (15/32") thick and mortise chisels up to 9mm (11/32") thick. It offers bevel angles from 15° to 40° and back bevels from 10° to 20°.

The Veritas MK.II sharpening system consists of a clamping head with a base and roller, and an angle-setting tool.
