Honing guide - a device for sharpening chisels and plane irons with a width from 3 to 75 mm. The honing guide has 2 stepped jaws, one for chisels (width from 3 to 43 mm), the other for plane irons (width from 35 to 75 mm). 

In order to get a typical honing angle for the upper jaw (plane irons), it should be pulled out to the following lengths: 50 mm for 25°, 38 mm for 30° 

In order to get a typical honing angle for the lower jaw (chisels), it should be pulled out to the following lengths: 40 mm for 25°, 30 mm for 30° 

Clamping and regulations are done with just one knob.
