Pulse-hardened teeth rechangeable blade Folding Blade Cut Across Cut Along Miter cuts Wood

Folding carpentry saw made in Japan by Shogun - a manufacturer of professional hand saws.
Kataba Japanese saw - the equivalent of the European crosscut saw.
Universal tooth saw - ideal for cross, rip and miter cuts. Designed for cutting in wood and wood-based materials. The Kataba saw has a straight handle perfect for deep cuts and for precise cutting of tenons and fingers. Pulse-hardened teeth provide 3 times longer service life and sharpness compared to traditional saws. Light and convenient folding saw for storage (fits in any backpack and tool bag). The handle is covered with a special non-slip material.
Medium-fine toothing (16TPI), saw blade replaceable.

The blade can be unfolded in two positions (2-stage adjustment of the angle of the handle), thanks to which cutting is much easier on the ground or in hard-to-reach places.

Shogun saws with pulse-hardened teeth (hardness around Hv900-950) provide a much longer service life than the teeth in traditional saws. Pulse-hardened teeth keep the cutting edges sharp for 3 times longer than traditional saw teeth.

As with all Japanese saws, also here the cut is made only when the saw is pulled towards you. As a result, Japanese saws have blades that are thinner, lighter and smoother, resulting in faster cuts.
