Dozuki type saw - equivalent of European back saw.

This is a standard, very popular model of dozuki with steel back for better rigidity and precision. Fine toothing and a thin blade gives a very narrow cut (0.45mm!) Recommended where precision and straight cutting is required.

Metal back guarantees excellent stability during cutting, reduces the risk of breaking or bending the blade, but also limits the depth of cut. An excellent saw for making non-deep cuts, especially recommended for making joints, tenons, dovetail joints, precise cuts....

As with all Japanese saws, cutting occurs only when the saw is pulled toward you. As a result, Japanese saws have blades that are thinner, lighter and smoother, resulting in a faster cut.
