Scrapers are some of the most useful tools in any woodworking shop. Their purpose is to gently and precisely scrape the surface of the wood, leaving it perfectly smooth.

This set of scrapers in different shapes is perfect for:

• Restoration work: They clean wood from paint and varnish without damaging the surface (no need to grab the sander right away! Choose more delicate and precise scrapers). Their shapes help clean even unusual wooden forms, including concave and convex surfaces.

• Finishing tasks:
  They remove milling marks (e.g., from a planer) and smooth the wood surface even better than the finest planes – quickly and easily. They are great as a final finish after using a plane.
