Japanese Flat File-Rasp 200mm CP Series Extra-Fine Iwasaki
Product Dimensions and Weight
Iwasaki Wood Files from the Latest CP Series (with a red tip) offer exceptionally fast material removal, nearly ten times faster than traditional rasps.
The CP series files are characterized by specially designed teeth, created through a unique chemical process.
The rasps are extremely sharp and require no force (pressure) during use.
This is the ideal tool for sculptors, woodworkers, instrument makers, toy makers, and more.
While traditional rasps produce sawdust and files create fine dust, Iwasaki tools produce miniature shavings. Similar to a rasp, the Iwasaki file removes material very quickly, but the resulting surface is significantly smoother and requires only minimal sanding for finishing.
The secret of Iwasaki files lies in their manufacturing process, featuring uniquely shaped teeth. Additionally, diagonal grooves shift the teeth, and each tooth acts as a miniature chip breaker, reducing clogging.
