Pulse-hardened teeth
Shogun saws with pulse hardened teeth (hardness approximately Hv900-950) provide a much longer life than teeth on traditional saws. The pulse hardened teeth keep their cutting edges sharp 3 times longer than traditional saw teeth.
2-stage deep teeth
Fast-cutting Shogun saw with special 2-stage deep teeth. Special tooth design that pushes the chips out while cutting to prevent the blade from jamming
As with all Japanese saws, the cut occurs only when the saw is pulled towards itself. As a result, Japanese saws have blades that are thinner, lighter and smoother, resulting in a faster cut.
