240mm Dozuki saw - the equivalent of the European backsaw.
This is a standard, very popular dozuki model with a steel spine for better stiffness and precision. Fine toothing and a thin blade give a very narrow kerf (0.45mm!) Recommended wherever accuracy and straight cutting are required.
The metal spine guarantees excellent stability when cutting, reduces the risk of breaking or bending the blade, but also limits the depth of cut. Excellent saw for making shallow cuts, especially recommended for making joints, tenons, dovetail joints, precise cuts ..
Blade parameters:
> lenght: 240mm
> thickness: 0,3mm
> kerf: 0,45mm
> teeth spacing: 1mm
> teeth count: 20/inch (20TPI)
Properties:
> blade for making precise cuts
> fine teeth
> stiffed steel spine
> simple straight wooden handle covered in natural rattan
> replaceable blade
> polished finish

As with all Japanese saws, all cuts are made only when the saw is pulled towards you. As a result, Japanese saws have blades that are thinner, lighter and smoother, resulting in faster cuts.
